Support my walk for kids facing cancer.

Every month in Australia, 88 children are diagnosed with cancer. 

For those families, their lives are changed forever. Cancer puts families under enormous pressure. It can feel like it’s impossible to hold it together.

This June, I am taking part in the Heartbreak to Hope Walk to raise funds for Redkite to provide emotional, financial and practical support and care to families facing childhood cancer.

Together, we can show these children and their families that they don't have to face cancer alone and support them as they face the toughest time of their lives.

In memory of Mila

Friday 10th May
Two and a half years ago, our family was given the worst news we could have possibly heard. 
Our 6 year old daughter was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour with no know cure. 

Mila spent two years fighting, doing radiation in hope to buy her more time with us. 
She was an incredible kid, so brave and we thank God for her! 
Jesus had her so well covered in his love and protection for her entire journey through this difficult time.  
She took everything in her stride and radiated Gods love to everyone that met her. 
Mila went Home to Heaven on the 25th Febuary 2024. 
 
The charity Redkite offered us so many things from financial assistance to emotional support.   
We were able to receive fuel vouchers, grocery vouchers and so much more. 
The friendly staff were available to see face to face whenever we were at the hospital and it was lovely to build relationships with them and they were always so lovely to Mila.  

I'm walking 100km this June so that these services can be available to families like ours when they need it the most.
