Heartbreak to Hope Walk (the ‘Event’) is an initiative of the Redkite (“Redkite”) to raise funds to support specialised programs for families facing childhood cancer.
The Event opens on 1st May 2026 and ends on 31st May 2026.
By registering for the Event, the participant (18 years or older) or their parent/guardian (if under 18 years), acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
General:
- The decision to participate in the Event is entirely your own and you take full responsibility for any consequence of your participation in the Event for yourself and/or your participants.
- Any content (e.g. photos and text) you post to the website (your fundraising page) is your responsibility, and you must have the necessary rights to post that content (including the consent of others who feature in the content). Redkite retains the right to delete any content posted.
- You acknowledge that Redkite reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions of the Event at any time.
Fundraising:
- You acknowledge that by registering for the Event, you pledge to raise funds for Redkite.
- All fundraising conducted for this Event comes under Redkite’s authority to fundraise in the respective State or Territory in Australia and you agree to be bound by the relevant state and national fundraising legislation.
- Redkite can refund a donation made in error. If you wish to request a refund, please contact Redkite via community@redkite.org.au
Privacy:
- Redkite respects and is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information it collects.
- Redkite will collect your personal information and any other information you may volunteer so that we can: administer and conduct the Event; and keep you informed about Redkite, its fundraising activities and the important work you are supporting.
- Redkite may use your image, name and challenge result in any promotion relating to this Event, including in the Leaderboards and/or on the Event website.

Authority to Fundraise:
Agreement to these terms and conditions gives the registered Heartbreak to Hope Walk participant authority to fundraise in support of the work of Redkite for the following fundraising event:

PRIZE AND INCENTIVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Heartbreak to Hope Walk – Fundraising Rewards & Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
To be eligible for fundraising rewards or entry into prize draws, participants must:
- Be registered for the Heartbreak to Hope Walk campaign
- Meet the specific criteria outlined below within the campaign period
- Comply with these Terms and Conditions
General Conditions
- Participants must provide a valid Australian delivery address to receive any physical rewards. Rewards will not be shipped internationally.
- Only donations made directly to an individual’s fundraising page (including linked Facebook fundraisers) will count towards reward and prize eligibility. Donations made to team or organisation pages are not included in individual totals.
- Fundraising totals must be reached within the official campaign period to qualify for rewards or prize draw entries.
- Prizes and rewards are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
- If a prize includes a third-party voucher, it is subject to the issuing provider’s terms and expiry date. Redkite is not responsible for lost, stolen, or expired vouchers once issued.
- Redkite reserves the right to substitute a reward or prize with an item of equal or greater value if necessary.
Fundraising Rewards
Participants who reach the following milestones are eligible for rewards:
- Fundraise $53 – Receive a Heartbreak to Hope Walk t-shirt
Limited to the first 1,000 participants who reach this milestone and claim their reward
Prize Draws
Early Registration Draw
- Participants who register on or before 3 April will automatically be entered into a draw to win:
- One of two Garmin Forerunner 55 Watches (2 winners)
- Winners will be drawn at random following the registration deadline
Fundraising Milestone Prize Draws
Participants who reach the following actions and fundraising milestones will automatically receive one (1) entry into the corresponding prize draw:
- Raise $152 – Entry to win a $250 LSKD voucher (1 winner)
- Raise $304 – Entry to win a Redkite Pack (1 winner)
- Raise $530 – Entry to win a $200 New Balance voucher (1 winner)
- Raise $810 – Entry to win Sony WF-C710N Truly Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds (1 winner)
Each action and/or milestone unlocks entry into its respective draw only
Entries close for Fundraising Milestone Prize Draws at 11.59pm AEST on Wednesday 3 June 2026.
Entries are not cumulative across multiple thresholds unless separately stated
Beats of Hope Thursday
Participants who receive a donation on 21 May 2026 (AEST) will automatically receive an entry into the draw to win one of three pairs of Bose Quiet Comfort earbuds.
Participants will receive:
- 1 entry per donation, and
- an extra 10 entries if their total donations during the day are equal to or greater than $100 or
- an extra 100 entries if their total donations during the day are equal to or greater than $500.
This is a game of chance.
Claiming Rewards
- Rewards must be claimed via the participant’s fundraising dashboard once the milestone has been reached.
- Participants will receive an email notification with instructions on how to claim their reward.
- Rewards will only be dispatched once a valid claim has been submitted.
Reward Fulfilment
- Physical rewards will be shipped to the address provided at the time of claim
- Dispatch timelines will be communicated during the campaign period
Prize Draw Details
- All draws will take place at Redkite’s office in Sydney, NSW
- Winners will be selected at random and notified via the phone number and/or email address linked to their registration within 7 days of the draw
- Winners must respond within 7 days to claim their prize. If unclaimed, Redkite reserves the right to redraw
- Total prize values are based on recommended retail value at the time of promotion
Privacy
By participating, entrants agree to Redkite collecting and using their personal information for the purposes of administering the campaign, in accordance with Redkite’s Privacy Policy
