Support my challenge for kids facing cancer.

Every month in Australia, 90 children are diagnosed with cancer. 

For those families, their lives are changed forever. Cancer puts families under enormous pressure. It can feel like it’s impossible to hold it together.

This May, I am taking part in the Heartbreak to Hope Walk to raise funds for Redkite to provide emotional, financial and practical support and care to families facing childhood cancer.

Together, we can show these children and their families that they don't have to face cancer alone and support them as they face the toughest time of their lives.

RedKite's Music Therapy Program

Tuesday 22nd Apr
During my time in the hospital, I got to be part of a magical music therapy program! It was like stepping into a world of fun and adventure. Playing all the fun musical instruments and singing Shrek songs was like having a mini concert every day. The music made me feel like a superhero, lifting my spirits and making me smile, even on the toughest days. It was like having a secret weapon against feeling sick. The music therapy sessions were filled with laughter, joy, and a sprinkle of magic, showing me that even in the hardest times, there could be moments of pure happiness and fun.
My enjoyment of the Music Therapy program really uplifted the whole hospital, so much so that I was the advocate of the program, which had me stared in the newspaper and on a news story - which is on YouTube (https://youtu.be/XszujZR_IFw?si=rEo9gfKJZOMaCw6_)

My journey through childhood cancer was incredibly challenging, but the support from the many charities within the Cancer Hub, especially RedKite, made all the difference. RedKite provided my family and I with financial and emotional support, helping us navigate the toughest times. 
Today, as a survivor, I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support that gave us hope and strength. Thank you, RedKite, and all the charities in the Cancer Hub, for being our beacon of hope during the darkest times.
