Why I’m Stepping Up For Children Fighting Cancer
There are moments in life that shake us awake. Moments that remind us how fragile, unfair, and precious our time on this earth really is. For children facing cancer, those moments happen far too early, and far too often. Their childhoods, which should be filled with fun, imagination, and possibility, are instead interrupted by hospital rooms, treatments, and battles no child should ever have to fight.
This year, I’m taking part in Redkite’s Heartbreak to Hope Challenge; a 100km journey walked, run, and carried with purpose. I’m doing it for the kids whose strength outshines their small bodies, for the families holding it together through fear and love, and for the hope that one day we won’t need fundraisers like this at all.
Every kilometre symbolizes a story.
Every donation becomes a lifeline.
And together, every step brings us closer to better treatments, brighter tomorrows, and most importantly, hope.
I’m inviting you to be part of this journey with me. Your support doesn’t just contribute funds, it brings comfort, courage, and a fighting chance to children who deserve the world.
Thank you 🫶🏼
