Support my challenge for kids facing cancer…in honour of Ella 💜

Every month in Australia, 90 children are diagnosed with cancer. 

For those families, their lives are changed forever. Cancer puts families under enormous pressure. It can feel like it’s impossible to hold it together.

This May, I am taking part in the Heartbreak to Hope Walk to raise funds for Redkite to provide emotional, financial and practical support and care to families facing childhood cancer.

Please sponsor me by making a donation to support my walk. 

Together, we can show these children and their families that they don't have to face cancer alone and support them as they face the toughest time of their lives.

Day 31

Saturday 31st May
It’s been a quiet and relaxing day. I am at Nelson Bay with friends and it is stunning here. 
I am very grateful for the support of family and friends once again as I raise money for organizations that supported us during our cancer journey with Ella. Thank you all again for your continued support. 💜

Day 22

Thursday 22nd May
What a glorious day! Sunshine, a little gardening and family time…perfect.  Girls pedi day. 

I haven’t done a great deal of walking the last three weeks, so it’s time to step it up with a big effort to finish strong!

Day 16

Friday 16th May
It’s been a magical day spent with my daughter Aimee, her partner Rick and my beautiful grand babies Noah and Macy. 
We had a relaxing morning followed by a walk to Point Cartwright Lighthouse and along the beach and rocks. 

Life is perfect when you’re surrounded by those you love. 

Day 13

Tuesday 13th May
Only 26kms so far…I had better get some good weather soon or I will be working hard on the treadmill.

Thankfully this morning was sunny and perfect for a walk…but it was cut short by rain…again. 

It was also the birthday of this gentle giant. 💚

Day 11

Sunday 11th May
It’s been a wet and windy couple of days here in the not so Sunny Coast! ☔️

Needless to say I have not walked much…but step counts right? 

May have to hit the treadmill at the gym to get my kms 🆙 

Day 9

Friday 9th May
Had a great day walking 9.7kms yesterday. Walked into Mooloolaba with my sister for a  relaxing chat and Acai cup overlooking the beach. 
I feel blessed. Beautiful day, lots of sunshine, a gentle breeze and good company.  💜

It’s raining it’s pouring this weathers getting boring! 

Only 5kms today but better than no kms. 😊

Thursday 1st May
Slow start as I was busy in the garden 🪴 today.  I promise to up my game and increase my daily kms as we move through May. 

Today…2.7kms and lots of weeding! 💜
