Update from Walking for the Greenhalgh Family
What an incredible start to our Redkite Heartbreak to Hope Walk journey.
In just four days, our team has grown from 2 members to 14, we’ve raised $3,600, and together we’ve already walked more than 140km for kids and families facing childhood cancer. We couldn’t be prouder of this effort and the community forming around this cause.
Most school afternoons, a few of us will be meeting at James Miller Oval to do laps while the kids enjoy the playground — a simple way to fit the kilometres in and support each other along the way. Anyone is always welcome to join us.
Most importantly, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Your generosity, kindness, and support mean more than we can say. Every dollar raised is helping Redkite continue the vital work they do for families during unimaginably difficult times.

Support our challenge for children facing cancer.
We’re walking 100km for the Greenhalgh family.
In loving memory of Len, and in support of Pat who is bravely fighting cancer, our team is taking on this challenge to raise money for kids and families facing childhood cancer.
Every step we take honours Len’s life and stands beside Pat in his fight. We walk for their courage, their strength, and for every family living this journey.
Our team is open to anyone who would like to join us for this walk, and we warmly welcome any donations to help make a difference.
